The executive order will allow these businesses to operate outdoors into private parking lots. The order comes a week after Governor Gavin Newsom announced that all indoor operations would be ceased at a wide variety of recently reopened businesses due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. STAY UP-To-DATE San Diegans Can Begin Applying for COVID-19 Rent Relief Program San Diegans, who are having difficulty paying rent due to COVID-19 pandemic, can now apply for a one-time emergency fund for their rent. Now until August 7, tenants can sign up for San Diego's COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program which, will allow them to receive up to $4,000 for rent.
